I agree that generally the staff is on top of things. This is first time I have ever complained about coverage, but if the highest rated recruit since Tim Couch is potentially on campus we should probably at least confirm or deny his presence. The Alexander kid has offers from EVERY school in the SEC plus FSU, OSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, the list goes on. He also has us in his Top 5 right now.
As I said, generally the staff does a great job, but if this kind of kid makes it to campus without as much as a peep from the kid, his coach, his parents, etc. it is a huge swing and miss. It stinks that they are short staffed. Getting a kid like this to campus is really big.

Ask anyone that covers recruiting on a national level and they will tell you that Alexander is unbelievably tough to track down and when you do track him down, hard to get any info out of him.
Obviously, I'm at Peach Jam right now and that is my main focus. I can't call football recruits while I'm at the biggest basketball event of the year.
Alexander has been popping up on campuses around the country. Very hard to get a handle on.

according to 24/7 he was at Bama for a visit on 7/18, at a FSU camp yesterday, and is in Lexington today?
darn i hope he is getting some FF miles.

I hear that Boaz loved his visit..as did Corey Cooper.(But who wouldnt if John Wall was your unoffical host??) The twins aka Makenzie and Makenro Alexander, not heard a whole lot offeedbac on thier vist just yet..but just having them here with other big time recruits cant hurt. Never know when two or more of the kids will hit it off and form a relationship..decide to come together!! Im hoping this happens...If we land Cooper, Joseph, and the twins...then Drennon and Timmons...I wouldnt really care who else signed...I'd be tickled BLUE!!

HUGE recruiting weekend for UK and no story?
