Harmon was nowhere near as impressive as Sweat. As for the debate between he and McKay? McKay is a very special talent that has the tools to quickly be an SEC impact player. He truly can be an Alshon Jeffrey type of talent. He has the body AND the speed. I'm not that impressed with Harmon's speed or explosivness. In the SEC, he'll be more of a possession receiver.

Mckay plays at a school with virtually zero publicity. I've heard several Jefferson County highschool coaches say that McKay and James Quick are without a doubt the best skill players to come through the area since Mike Bush. If McKay played at St X or Trinity, he would be a national recruit.

Has anyone seen McKay play hoops enough to know if he's worthy of a walk-on spot? I've seen numerous people here and elsewhere say he wants to play both and is 100% our's if given that opportunity. Just curious if he's good enough and what his style of play is. If he's as athletic as people say and is as big of a football recruit as people say, then I can't imagine Cal wouldn't take him as an end-of-the-bench walk-on guy.

Wow. Didn't realize that.
My personal opinion: If you're good enough for a scholarship from Cincy, then you're good enough to be a walk-on at UK, unless your style of play and/or skillset just completely clashes with the DDMO. Given his supposed importance to the football program, you would think this one is a no-brainer for Cal to "take one for the team".
