Two reasons IMHO, free visits still to take, and to save face. May that be with a school you are committed to, or with school recruiting you.

This honestly isn't bbk there was no name in the tweet I don't know why people jumped to hatcher then woulard... N now with the announcement of Blue I'm thinking that's who bbk meant in the text

Anytime a coaching staff changes it makes sense to me that it would take time to make new inroads into a staff.

I got this info in a text from a friend I trust in Louisville. I happened to see Aaron's tweet after. So, I didn't get this from Aaron. Maybe he did? I don't know. Not my concern. I just wanted to see what info our mods had.

Well we know Javess blue has committed so if that is it, I am very happy with just this. But if we get Hatcher, that will be a happiness that only a dieheart 50 yr UK fan would understand. :)

Coach has a lot to offer these guys right now...solid defense with the numbers to back it up, one of the top young OC's in the country that likes to play fast, an all-star coaching staff, and upgrades to the facilities starting this year.
It's a great time for UK football fans. Come on in boys, the water is fine.

I wont hold my breath on Hatcher. No offense..just dosent add up. But..with Stoops and this STAFF...anything does seem possible now huh? Would be crazy great. We HAVE to keep the best instate kids at home. Imagine if we had Lamar Dawson, Justin Green, Jon Davis..Channing Fugate, and the other Ky kids playing abroad?? Had this staff been in place last year..we might have had a shot.
I think Timmons comes. Dont really understand him being silent...i know he said he would wait till FEB 5th...seems it would help us..but..could be that UK staff wants him to wait so it dosent dissuade another top wr target to come.
I hope the OP is right. Hatcher would be a super huge Land..

What makes this VERY interesting is the rumors(fact?) that Hatcher is indeed hosting the UK staff for an in-home visit...JOsh,Chris,Matt....any confirmation on the in-home? If this is indeed true..im telling you this staff is capable of pulling off a miracle or two. THe fact we are even thinking this is possible is a HUGE step forward dont you agree?

Nor would I..
USC was terrible this year, so was UK but even more so with less talent.
But...
Monte Kiffin has moved on from USC and we added Stoops, our DC is Eliot who is considered one of the best in the biz at developing DEs and our DL coach is Brumbaugh who coached Z Smith into being the number one juco DE who then jumped at the chance to continue under him.
Note: I haven't personally been reading all USCs commit info but the twitter word is they all are saying they are 90%. I'm not sure how to judge that.
