He's a sophomore that had a bad game. People need to relax. No reason to hate on the kid.

With that said, he cannot go 2-8 in a game. To me that stat doesn't say he missed shots. It says he missed bad shots. That's not all his fault. His teammates should put him in position to make good shots. Particularly the point guards.

I started this thread prior to the game ending. (Maybe even before game started)

I started this thread when I noticed a lot of hate on wiltjer on other sites.

Wiltjer will be fine. If he can increase his
Minutes and shoot like last year. We got what we need.

Wasn't attacking him. I was merely making the point that he has to hit shots. That's his role. I would personally like to see him get involved on the block early with that deadly hook.

I was just pointing out others are picking on Wiltjer like Jones got year before.

I actually thought he played well in Transy game. His shot wasn't falling, but he shot open 3s. Did good post moves, and he drove the lane.

He also didn't get blown by on defense like people keep saying. He rebounded well for his limited time, but he did let one go that PISSED off Coach Cal.

Anyways, I am fully supporting Wiltjer.

Wildmoon - my post was not personal to you, it was in general. I read post from UK fan base beating up and highly critical of UK athletes in both basketball and primarily football. I am all for constructive criticism, but many post are ridiculously unfair to our athletes. My comment was adding to your comment, not a disagreement with your post.
