Stats are completely irrelevant in the rating process, unless it's a guy who has demonstrated he put up those stats in, say, the best region in Florida or Texas, for example. Otherwise, they're useless.
Cobb was a 3-star (potential All-Conference pick) because of his lack of position. He had to be projected as a WR. Plus, can't properly rate what's in the heart. I think most kids who were underrated had huge hearts.

But Jeff, he did this in the 5A division. Tennessee has pretty good HS football and Cobb was in 3A. They should know about this guy unless he just came out of nowhere and was a back up last year.
