I am so excited about this weekend I can hardly contain myself

    UK bats v LSU pitching

    LSU is undefeated when they score more than four runs

    UK has only lost two at home all year in weekend series

    LSU pitching has not faced a team that hits as well as UK

    LSU and UK have one common opponent, Arkansas, which they swept at home. UK was one diving catch away from doing the same so all indications are they played Arkansas pretty comparably.

    UK must get better starts on Friday (Rogers) and Saturday (Grundy.) I feel confident we take every Sunday game this year (Littrell.)

    What's your prediction?

    I think this is the first series of the year we drop. Fri/Sat pitching has been shaky and this is the weekend it bites us and our bats can only do so much. If Rogers and Grundy can get us to the sixth, we can sweep the series... that's how close to dominant we are right now.

    2-1 LSU.

  • I think I realistic expectation in this one is to get one of the first two and see what happens on Sunday. If they can beat Littrell, you just tip your cap to them.

    How huge would it be to take Game 1?

  • Huge series. Thinking about making the 2 hour drive up to Lex to see the Saturday matinee and then head over to Commonwealth for the Blue-White game.

    Starting out with a W on Friday night would be fantastic. Hopefully Taylor Rogers steps up and the bats come alive. Beat LSU!

    You're right here, Game 1 is the tipper. If we can take this one I feel real good about the series. If we fall on Friday, it'll be tough to recover.

    I'm glad you guys are doing well out in the east, def a team I can pull for!

    Friday is going to be a good one. Our pitcher, Gausman will be drafted in the top 5 overall on almost all mocks. Throws 97-99 and doesn't tire.

    Raph Rhymes leads the SEC batting .484. Putting up record numbers. He was MVP in juco batting .464 on the year last year and is doing better in the SEC. He doesn't hit many HRs but it's truly a site to see, only 4 strikeouts on the year on him.

    Just giving you a little insight on our team and I hope for a good series with no injuries cheers
