Here's my point and the problem: This thread wasn't about Joker or number of wins or the future. It was about the reality of the situation this year, which is the fact they've been besieged by injuries. I don't know that it makes that much difference in performance, but the fact you can't even have a thread without the same posters posting the same stuff over and over and over again is what is beyond tired.
There are enough threads discussing that. It's ruining the board when every other thread turns into that because a handful of posters can't possibly discuss anything else without beating the same drum. Yeah, everyone gets it. Few people are arguing that point. But goodness, it makes life miserable for everyone when they turn every thread into the same stuff. It makes the TCP staff's job miserable, quite frankly. And judging by my inbox on the site and e-mail inbox, it makes more people who read and post on this site miserable than the select few who can't have a non-FIRE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! thread believe.
Hey guess what, injuries are a reality. Just because you discuss them doesn't mean you're making excuses for anything or 'supporting' the coaching staff. It means you're discussing what is actually going on from a week to week basis about the team.

Waiting inside Nutter Training Facility today for practice to end, QBs Maxwell Smith and Patrick Towles came down the hallway together, both on crutches, both with their ankle in orthopedic boots. Towles even quipped, 'It's a disease' and smiled as he crutched by. Pretty jarring image for what has happened over there this season and the position they currently find themselves in.

Interestingly, I was talking to Matt Smith after practice today and he said there have been so many injuries the trainers had to come get a walking boot he kept in his locker as a precaution because they needed extras for all the ankle/foot injuries they have right now. Not all of the injuries are severe and a lot of times they put a ton of guys in them throughout the week after practice to protect tender ankles/feet, but that kind of tells you just how many of those guys are walking wounded right now.

Hey Matt, is there anyway by the records you have, that you can go back and list every injury that has caused players to miss playing time this season and how many games missed? I think it would be interesting (although maybe depressing as well) to see the amount of missed time due to injuries this year. If it's alot of work, don't bother, just didn't know what info. you have available to you. Thanks for the consideration of the request.
