Vitale is the most annoying person in all of sports. In his old age he rambles about the same crap every game. I've watched three non-UK games and he's rambled about his ND connection. Tonight is understandable since it was at ND, but when they aren't playing nobody cares.

I wonder when he comes to UK if he will have as many UK players or coaches interviewed as they had ND people tonight.

Yea and his comment about it doesn't matter and fate was a bunch of crap. He talked about ND like its the best university in the world even before the game started, hell even during the IU game they were talking about Vitale saying ND was going to be tough to beat. But where he went over the line the most was saying it didn't matter who the Irish played Bama or Georgia and that was crap. Sports broadcasters are suppost to remain impartial and he's was not even close to being impartial and should be suspended because anyother broadcaster would be and just because he's Dicky V shouldn't make him untouchable. If he can't stay impartial while calling a game at ND then he should not be able to call their games and just because his girls and their husbands attend there doesn't give him the right to make a ball game a recruiting pitch for all of the ND programs. The NCAA should step in and annouce that Dick Vitale isn't allowed on the campus of ND to call ball games and again he is an idiot everyone knows that ND is only playing for the NC because of their name, if it were Boise St that played that schedule and was unbeaten they still wouldn't be playing for the NC it would be Florida and the SEC Champ! But in all honesty it doesn't matter who wins the SEC title game because either one of those teams will drill ND. If Bama gets to play ND it will be a beating like no other and even though I think Georgia would win I give ND at least a shot against them and zero chances against the tide. I for one was routing for the Irish until tonight now I can't wait to see our SEC Champion put an ass whipping on the Irish.... And after they do I think Dicky V should have to go on ESPN and take his medicine..

Vitale was beyond annoying tonight. Now ESPN doesn't need to do an All-Access Notre Dame for next year though, because they already had an episode! But seriously, the refs were a joke, Vitale was a joke, and our performance was a joke. Not to mention ND was just draining horrible shots. It is what it is, I'm just glad we don't have another game this year like that one. But I will say, Dicky V just got A LOT of haters tonight, not just UK fans.

Well, the UL game won't have as hostile of an environment that this game was. It was ridiculous. I agree on Mays being the only one showing life, Noel showed some though, but not much. There's no reason why Poythress should not have been posting up all night, his size, athleticism, and speed all put together in his position is perfect, yet they didn't utilize him well. Wiltjer, well don't even get me started, he's a liability if he doesn't make 3's, and couldn't make 3 a to save his life last night.

I'm a big fan of Manti Te'o. Unbelievable football player who has suffered through unspeakable tragedy but that was a bit much.

The game was basically split screen the entire game with a Te'o cam.
