After Josh tweeted about the new scholarship offer to Nate Willis. I have to wonder why the new interest in Western Arizona Junior College. Then I noticed old TB was hot on his trail to come to Akron. Did TB and Stoops coach together at FSU?

I thought Stoops coached the CBs himself. And Peveto is Safties/STs.

There is one spot left on the defensive staff. The only position available is at cornerback. It's possible Stoops takes corners and adds an assistant defensive assistant.

What am I missing? That link is to an article that says Buckley's been hired as the CB coach at Akron. So how could that be taken as meaning that he will possibly be an assistant at UK?

I'm guessing that with the 247 article on Freddie Stevenson indicating that he's solid with enrolling @ FSU in Jan., he must be the 1 out of 4?
From Noles247 staff writer Tom Loy in article regarding LB Freddie Stevenson.....
Most recruits are taking the wait-and-see approach regarding the defensive coordinator opening on the Florida State staff, but Stevenson admits that he trusts that Coach Fisher will make a quality hire.
“Coach Fisher said that he was interviewing for the defensive coordinator job right now,” mentioned Stevenson. “I actually never even though about not early enrolling and waiting till they name the coach because I know where I want to be. Coach said he has some big names lined up and that we are all going to like who he brings on board. It should be cool to see who the coach will be and I definitely trust him.”

I guess if you want to take credit for the Buckley info. Josh broke the news on Nate Willis first. My guess is that's where people are hearing about the Buckley connection a week later. jMO.

It's possible that UK has a guy in mind, but I think they were being genuine when they said that they will interview candidates at the coaching convention. Also possible that they are waiting for the NFL to take some of college's best coaches so they can poach the assistants.

No... why Josh. Because his pattern this far has been to hire people off their resumes? Every hire has had a connection to him or Kentucky. Didn't May ask Gerald Parker about his interest 2 weeks ago? I think he was told they already had their man? Coley rumor has legs. Buclkley rumor is coming from recruits.

It's not but I don't understand why they haven't been announced if that's the case. What's stopping Buckley from moving? He's a position coach that's not in a bowl game.
Florida State announcing that their offensive coordinator is leaving would be terrible for recruiting a month before signing day.
Maybe it happens but it just doesn't add up.
