Jeff and chris, jabari says he will decide in november and praises uk. Where do we stand now and is deciding in november good or bad for us

Sounds like most people think he's going somewhere other than UK. Obviously its not over but It sounds like we've got some ground to make up.

Im not Jeff or Chris (thank Gawd...lol jk) but I've never really felt good about Jabari Parker inkling with UK. I've always felt like Izzo had a firm grip just as Cal has the the Harrison twins. That being said, i also didn't think we would land Alex Poythress either. Lol. It seems like every year Cal pulls at least one guy that most "experts" say he has no chance at due to a stronger and longer relationship with another coach (M. Teague n Slick Rick) or a geographical advantage (plucking a kid from another coaches back yard) such as Terrace Jones from Washington. Hell thinking about TJ...i guess we shouldn't even count Cal out on kids who commit elsewhere LMWAO.
So i guess what it boils down to is that we shouldn't ever count Cal it with any kid under any circumstance. I still think Parker commits to Mich St. in the end but if any lone can pull him away from Izzo its Cal.

I agree with michigan state. I also think we have a better shot with him than everyone rhinks

Yeah that's what i was trying to say i guess. Lol.
I think as of right now he's a strong Spartan lean, but if anyone else as a chance at him its Cal.
Im actually ok if we miss on him. Don't get me wrong, he's a great prospect no doubt, but this 13' class is as deep as we have seen in a long time. Randle and Parker are both crazy good, but we could easily end up with another #1 class missing on both imo.
Parker or Randle will not prevent Cal from hauling in another MONSTER class. And if we do land one or both....well...that could end up being Cal's best recruiting class yet.

I honestly just can't see Jabari Parker at Michigan State, Tom Izzo's record is of being a great coach, not so much as a recruiter, he finds the diamond in the rough, while Jabari is certainly nothing of that nature. Jabari is a stud of a player, but I think he ends up as a Blue Devil personally, it seems as a much better fit then Jabari being a Spartan, but I've never really felt good about our chances with Jabari, if we get him though, that would be an extremely pleasant surprise.

Here's an article on Jabari, I like to see Cal got Derrick Rose and Anthony Davis to talk to Jabari as well, being all 3 are from Illinois. It could improve our chances.

I've said this repeatedly but I'll say it again, as of right now, I don't think UK is in great shape with Parker. But I'll also say again, it doesn't really matter right now.
I think Duke and Michigan State are out in front but UK hasn't really gotten to make their pitch yet. When that happens, things could change.
UK very hard to say no to when the rubber meets the road right now.
As Jeff mentioned on Twitter, UK could miss on Parker and Randle and still pull in Cal's best recruiting class and that's saying a heck of a lot.
