The House of Blue

I read Okafors blog about his trip to Duke and UNC and he sure fell in love with Duke, I mean head over heels in love. You can tell how much he enjoyed his visit to Duke by all of the positive descriptive words he used. Its 1 of the strongest reactions I have read that a recruit has had to a visit unofficial or not. I agree that Duke made a lasting impression and could end up with a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1, although he is just a teenager he sounded like a kid in a candy store.

Jahlil really hasn't shown his hand much as far as whom he likes better or any of that but he has been very forward about wanting to play with Tyus.

The big thing with Tyus is while most of the other schools recruiting him are looking at someone else also at PG, for the first time since Kyrie Coach K is really going all in on a kid at a position. Haven't seen Duke listed with another PG yet and UK is at least involved with Mudiay (who I think we're going to get) and everyone else seems really involved with Joel Berry.

I don't really think Duke getting a big 3 hurts UK much because we're going to pull in a loaded group too. The school that stands to lose the most here is Michigan State. Obviously right now their top 4 targets in this class are Cliff Alexander (UK), Jahlil Okafor (Duke), Tyus Jones (Duke), and Trey Lyles (UK) and I don't think they're likely to get any of them.

Ah, I'd rather them go to a real Ivy League school or Vandy. Not because of academic education, but the fact Duke produces more pricks by themselves than the entire Ivy League and Vandy combined multiplied by 100.

hahaha!!! I'd go with that. Well Ivy League definitely. I'm not so sure about Vandy. Vandy is a great school but I think I'd prefer Duke. Talking purely acedemics here.
