James Coley re-considering Kentucky?

That's the rumor going around that he's re-considering Kentucky. I want Neal Brown but I look for him to get a head coaching job some where, maybe LA Tech? I hear they wanna keep the same offense, Dykes and Brown both run the same one.

Coley could come even if Neal Brown was hired. Coley was never going to be the OC at UK, maybe in title only like he is at FSU but he wouldn't call plays. Personally I wouldn't be shocked if he came to UK, he won't be an actual OC at FSU, I just can't see Jimbo giving up the play calling and if he did I don't believe it would be to someone like Coley who hasn't done it before.

Brown isn't out. The only teams that's being mentioned is Southern Miss and Kentucky a d he's not even a top candidate at Southern Miss yes he's a candidate but he's like 4th or 5th maybe on down the line. Tim Couch also made a statement tonight well about an hour or so ago that he wouldn't be surprised if Brown is the OC at Kentucky

No one is saying anything about Coley coming that I am hearing. But if nothing else pans out maybe his friendship with Mark will help him decide. I would still want an OC who can coach AND recruit.

I've learned to take everything with a grain of salt. I have a pretty good understanding of what is going on so it is funny to read some of these sources.

I can't imagine a HC being a position coach and being solely responsible for that positions. I also believe the NCAA mandates an assistant coach must be responsible for a position and not just some type of coordinator.

You also self rightously mocked anyone and eveyone who didn't buy into Joker Phillips and UK's 2 star recruiting prospects as the "answer" for UK football.

I've been told Stoops expects a decision by Monday. I'm not sure how Brown could know by then about the other jobs, but this is what I was told. John Clay tweeted out something similar earlier tonight.
