    When you have to fire almost your whole staff the first two years that you are the HC, recruiting takes a hit because of change. This year's class may be his best ever, so trying loving his recruiting instead of hating his coaching. You didn't mind it when he was OC with Woodson.

    Vandy is 0-2. period. Yes, Franklin is an ace recruiter..but that dosent always show up in wins. Lets talk more positive about Joker Phillips..Randy Sanders. Sanders is about a good a qb coach as you will find...he made Woodson and Hartline into SEC QB's. Now he has a genuine star at QB in Max Smith..and a corps of talented wideouts that make plays after the catch. I see Uk as factoring in the SEC East race in 2013/2014.

  • Franklin has not proven himself to be an ace recruiter. He's an ace at getting verbal commitments and he's an ace at speaking in massive amounts of hyperbole.

    He is not an ace at "signing" great recruiting classes (yet). And he is certainly not an ace winning games.

    Not only 0-2, but 3-9 in their last 12. Not good.

  • Franklin already in spin mode as the fans and media are starting to jump his sinking ship with that 0-2 record this year and mere 3-9 in last 12. Franklin hasn't proven jack!
