Jeff Tedford is available...

  • Just fired....but he has a very good overall record at Cal. Coached Aaron Rogers as well. Get some staff from the southeast and you might have something.

  • Last 5 years ... 32-31 overall ... 20-25 in the Pac 10/12.
    3-9 this season.

  • Say what you want....but he is a good coach that needs a fresh start. Offensive mastermind... and he knows Mitch.

  • Even Cal Berkley going "all in" in football. They're in the midst of a $300 million upgrade to stadium and training center and now getting ready to offer top dollars to a coach.

  • I always liked Tedford but haven't thought through whether he'd be a good fit here

But it's funny when I go looking for who they're looking at, the San Jose Mercury News has a lot of the same names we're hearing--Dykes, Anderson, and MacIntyre in the top 5.

  • NO NO NO NO NO period. see the name <========.

alumni of both schools and fan of both programs, first hand knowledge we do not want this guy.

horridly inconsistent play by the D, bad tackling, never ever make mid game adjustments, bad 3rd down defense

plays favorites while younger more talented guys stand on the sidelines.

declining offensive line play, terrible play calling

failure to develop a QB that he recruited since Aaron Rodgers. for a QB guru this has been his biggest failure.

team consistently plays like it is uninspired and unprepared.

also acted lazy and entitled in his last years

I wasn't necessarily saying anything one way or the other ... just throwing out a few numbers for reference.
