Puts a different light on a lot of the negative stuff about Petrino. Personally I think it's crazy if he wasn't the first coach contacted.

Interesting insight... I never heard the flip side of those stories before. All of a sudden, BP's history doesn't look near as bad.

I'm not sure who runs this twitter account but they have been spot-on with basketball recruiting info in the past.
@WildcatRecruits To pass along what I heard this morning: so long as he's not just yanking us around for a better job, Bobby Petrino is the next UK FB coach.

That and the two articles about Joe B Hall and James Quick this morning have made my week! If the the UK president is really on board then things look bright.

Would have to think that Joe B. comments come from stories told by Mike Summers. If those stories are true and several current assistants (Summers, Nord & Cassity) all give their support of a Bobby P hire, I can see no reason not to hire him now.

Regardless of how accurate that twitter may be for UK basketball, they clearly know nothing about football, IMO.

It has been said on here 1,000 times the UK announced attendance includes all tickets sold as well as people working the game. Not cheeks in seats...

I've been against Petrino hiring the whole time. however, the longer we wait the higher the price goes with all these other jobs opening. time to s,,t or get off the pot. tired of hearing about it.

Quick didn't go as far as saying he would play for Petrino. Just that Petrino would be a good choice for UK and Quick would take a stronger look at UK with him as coach.

Not yesterday's (there wasn't one) but for the Vanderbilt game, I believe.
Actual attendance was closer to 16,000.
