  • A. Davis with strong game also.

    17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 stl, and 5 blks.

I really think he will be monster in couple years. He is going to be a sick player.

(never understood that ryan anderson trade...to be honest.)

  • MKG with a so-so game with

    9 points 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.

like Wall, if he develops midrange and 3 point shot, he will become a MONSTERRRRR.

That's a solid MKG game for his rookie season. He's 19 years old. Give him some time to grow up.

All three of these guys (Wall, Davis, and MKG) are still under 22. They need a minute to grow up. 3 pt range won't come to them overnight...apparently Wall doesn't need a 3 pt game to be a top PG with those numbers he put up without it...

Pretty sure Wall is 22, but that does not invalidate your point. All three are/will be too 5 players at their respective positions. If Big Cuz gets his emotions under control he will be too. If he does that he might be the most skilled big man since Hakeem.

UK players will run the NBA as long as Cal is coach.

  • Big Cuz is already top 5 at his position. Name 5 centers better?

    Ate you talking to me?

Well, IMO he's the best center in the league fad far as skill set. He's pushing it with his attitude. I've defended him to no end, but he's got to get that under control before he realizes his true potential.

  • I don't think Wall's advanced metric stats are that great, or at least haven't been in the past. However he has had an undeniably positive impact on the Wiz this season as they've improved a lot since his return from knee injury and that has to count for more than anything IMO. I'm not sure it's in the cards for him to be a top 5 pg in the NBA but it seems he's finally on the path to being top 10.

Davis on the other hand is going to be top 10 in the league someday period. He has to get stronger, has to develop some offense as all he does is shoot 15-18 ft jumpers, and needs his coach to get a clue. Davis isn't the most valuable player on the team yet but he is the future and too often he's sitting on the bench late or not having plays called for him for long stretches of the game. Frustrates the hell out of me.

john wall is turning 23 this year.

and...never said anything about them needing to get skill these skill over night....I simply stated that if they develop the shooting they will be a MONSTER. that's all.

ALso John Wall's PER is 16.76. Not very good.

    NBA Analysis:
"There are bad jump-shooters, and then there is John Wall. Last season he shot 3-for-42 on 3-pointers. That is not a typo. He also shot 29.7 percent on 2-pointers beyond 10 feet, which might not have been so bad if he hadn't taken THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY of them in an abbreviated season. Defending Wall merely required stopping his initial tornado burst upcourt after he got the ball, because once he ran a pick-and-roll, opponents just went under the screen and watched him miss.

This is so frustrating because Wall would be an All-Star if he was a remotely capable outside shooter. He is solid to excellent at everything else. Watching Wall push the ball in transition is breathtaking, and because of this, he leads the league in fast-break points and earns easy baskets even after opponents' makes. You can't find many point guards who shoot 61.9 percent at the rim. "

  • How bout we let Wall play a full season healthy before we start making declarations one way or the other about his game and where he can rank among PG's in the league. Rondo is living proof you don't have to have a great jumper to be the best PG in the league much less top 5.

  • Wall looks to be hitting his stride. Had another big night and this one comes at the expense of myself fantasy wise. Had 23 pts, 10 dimes, 6 rebs, and 4 steals and only 2 turnovers in a winning effort against Brandon Jennings.

go john wall go john wall.

He is playing well. Reminds me of his rookie season when he came out of the gates firing. I remember him having the triple double.

Interesting reading about his scout. He can go coast to coast even after made bucket. ARE YOU SERIOUS. lol, that's so crazy.

  • Speed kills in that league and Wall has plenty of it and if he stays healthy for the next ten years he will be one of the best. But Kyrie Irving will be top point guard at least scoring point. Wall could be 1a but don't think he will be better than Irving.

  • Where Wall could be better than Irving if he truly makes a commitment is on the defensive end. He's a better athlete than Irving. His ability to block shots from the PG position is pretty incredible. His size and length at the point is head and shoulders above most everybody. This could catapult Wall ahead of a guy like Irving. But Wall has got to make the commitment and he's gotta get in the weight room more and bulk up a little. More than anything though he needs to stay healthy. I agree though for the most part Irving is the better player. Just saying that if Wall could become lockdown defensively and he has the tools he could be better. The good thing is the Wizards will be drafting in the lottery probably for the next two years. They gotta make sure they get guys that can play. No more Jan Veseley's or whatever the hell that dudes name is. Such a shame.

  • Oh john wall and A. Davis playing against each other.

    They are both playing well.

  • Wall will be fine. People forget under the old rules of the 90s he would be a senior this year. He will continue to improve his jumper to add to his incredible size, speed, and strength as a PG. People forget it took Rondo awhile to adjust and be considered a top 5 PG in the NBA.
