  • If Jokers plan was to bring Whitlow in and then move him why is the heck was whitlow runnin 2nd team.offense behind Smith while.towels was running scout team? Makes no sense to me. Excuse was they had to change offense when smith went down. Who was the qb brought in to run the pro style/spread they had changed to? Towels. So if Towels was gettin all 2nd team reps during all fall camp the offense wouldnt had to have been changed at all, may be pulled back a lil but not an overhaul change. The last staff was so imcompetent about players/positions its amazing they've coached d1 fball so long.

    If Timmons didnt want to play for Joker at UK why in the world would he want to @ Florida, in that smash mouth pro style offense?

    First of all the kid's name is Towles.

    Secondly, no one said Whitlow was to be moved IMMEDIATELY. Whitlow signed in February and one of our would be fall backups, Jacob Russell quit after spring practice. Smith was to be the starter, Morgan the backup and Russell the fall back guy while Towles and Whitlow RS'd.

    Russell quit, Smith was injured, Newton was injured/ineffective, Whitlow was used with hope of catching the Cobb lightning in the bottle again - meanwhile our young HC fell prey to the pressure (as I feared he would) and pulled the RS from Towles. Not that difficult to comprehend.

    Have no idea what you're trying to say about Timmons.
