Joker on Sweat and Legree

  • sounds like Legree was a late addition similar to how UK added Ukwu after missing on their top targets down the stretch. Will be interesting to see how that plays out. I don't think he's as tall as people were expecting. I spoke with somebody 2 weeks ago who said Legree is right at 6'0. I thought and hoped he was in the 6'2 range.

Sounds like to me Joker was pissed at Summers for not letting them know about Legree earlier. The kid is a 7 foot high jumper with glue for hands.

Ukwu was added just a week or two before signing day after Willie Bohannon flipped to UT at the 11th hour. Much different than taking a kid just before Christmas.

This... Comparing these to the ukwu situation is laughable.

Ok..AJ.Legree is offically 6'1 178...Sweat was the larger of the two, not that much talller if at all but more physical..Sweat is 6'1 192. Legree is an elite athlete. Way beyond a "scholarship fill "take" as was Ukwu's deal..Legree will be a handful for any db...hes fast..stronger than he looks, and you can bet he can outjump his opponet almost every time...unless there is a state or two with better athletes than Florida...only Georgia comes close...Was rated the 2nd best player in the FACA North -South All-Star game.
Max Smith is gonna love Legree...just 3 step drop...fire the bullet on a hitch route about 11-12 feet in the air and if its close..Legree will get it.
Ukwu's situitaion was not very much like Legrees at all, imo.
Ukwu was a skiiny 6'5 200 when he got here. i will give Ukwu credit...he has most assuredly worked his tail off..listed at 6'5 258...Ukwu has yet to stay healthy a full year..I hope 2012 is his year. Has loads of athletc skill..very quick..long armed...strong. I think he could benefit from playing some OLB in the 3-4...basically a standup defensive end that conatins the edge...rushes the qb...ect.Good luck CW96!!! get us 12 sacks and 21 tfls this year!!

  • Justin Blackmon was/is 6 '1. If Legree is 6 '0 thats only an inch and kids has to have explosive legs to help with the high jump. Between Sweat and Legree odds are one will excels.

    Farmy75

  • Justin Taylor was a late additional last year also. Are you implying he was a reach as well? Minter I suggest you tell your so called source to lose your number. He/you make a lot of assumptions and try to sell it on this board as fact.

If he catches everything that is thrown his way, I don't care if he is 5'11", since I don't believe an inch is anything to talk about anyway, but then there are others.

I know a few women that might disagree.
