Do you guys think that Josh may have had some issues coming out of HS? I mean this guy looks like a beast and was an amazing back in Atlanta but I never could understand why he wasn't rated higher and approached by UGa. Not being negative, actually love the guy but just wonder if maybe he was injury prone or had something going on with the knee all along.

The reason Georgia didn't go after him is because they had a commitment from Isaiah Crowell, a 5* RB, and had other positions as a priority to fill the class. He had some solid offers (Cincy, Maryland, Miss St, Vandy and more) so there were plenty of schools that knew about him. RB is just a loaded/deep position every year in recruiting as a whole, the "big schools" can't get them all. I doubt Clemons redshirts, but if health is an issue at all UK has the luxury to do it, we will have seven, SEVEN! talented ones come summer.

Mobley is a good rb, but i'm not sure if he will be as good early on as Clemons. Clemons combination of size (Mobley has), Speed and Strength (Mobley has very good strength) made or "makes hopefully" him the type of rb we don't get that often... Clemons speed before his injury gave him the chance to be a big time SEC running back. It sucks that the kid got hurt. I know I may sound like a fool for saying this but at one point I actually thought we got the best GA rb... I hope Clemons comes back whenever that is 100%-110%. I do think Mobley's vision is top notch, he has good quickness, and a very strong lower body but that all out top end speed is something i'm not sure Mobley has. He does have the ability to get to the edge, he has a good first step and agility. He's good, I do think he can help out as a freshman if he works hard over summer break. I had the chance to see him live once this past year and I couldn't believe TN didn't offer him... I really think Mobley has better vision and balance then even Clemons, when Mobley runs he runs with so much force yet he looks gracefull. Mobley also looks like he runs with a very wide base, once he gets in a power rack and gets some good ole coaching from Rock Oliver i'm sure he'll become a brutal rb. I just hope he's a hard worker.
As far as Taylor goes he's a very talented kid, I think in the long run it would be better if we could redshirt him. Like Randy said alot of knee injuries do take 2 years to get back from. I love how he has good hands to go along with all that explosive power... He and mobley are a very good set of backs, both have SEC size and power. I do think Mobley is a better slasher but at the end of the day when healthy and developed (after a year or two) I think Taylor will be harder to tackle and has already shown great ball security fundamentals and we all know those are the 2 most important traits for a rb... I hope Mobley makes ball security a priority in the next couple months because I have a feeling he will play, the SEC is so tough and at one point I think we were down to our 3rd or 4th this past year.
The future looks bright with all these guys, however I think if we could land Timmons that would be one kid that could come in and maybe contribute from day 1. He's a special athlete, one would think now that Petrino is out at ARK that really helps our chances of bolstering our RB position even more. His speed would add another dimension... Hopefully we can get things going on the trail, I also hope Miami doesn't steal Gall the O-lineman from Ohio... Kimbrough also had us on top of his list a few short weeks ago it seems now that ole 4 star Charlie has stold our thunder with that super bright young man too. UofL has killed us so far this year. If they get all the Trinity kids that would be a huge blow.
Does anyone have any positive recruiting news???

I agree... I actually think Sanders looked pretty quick once he was fully healthy against TN... He was hurt from day 1 last year and that really hurt his game, his game is his quickness. I also think he looks better since he has lost about 8# of baby fat and is trying to gain nothing but lean mass... I think he can be a good back now that he's starting to mature.

Sanders imo, is only valuable if used correctly. His snaps need to be limited, and he needs to get the ball on the outside. It absolutely drove me crazy when it seemed like Joker was stuck on running Sanders up the middle. Wear the defense down with your big backs, and then try to get quick little guys like Sanders out on the edge. If wse try to depend on him too much thugh, e will be unsuccsesfu, adn, he will get hurt again.
