Julius Randle vs Andrew Wiggins

  • Who would you guys want? Personally i things Randle is better then Wiggins.

  • You are probably the only one other than J. Handle's mother.

    Both are extremely talented, but when you are the odds on favorite to be picked first in the draft any year you declare, and would have been picked first the 2 years prior to being eligible for the draft, you have to side with the majority on this one.

    A. Wiggins much better J. Randle. Think of A. Wiggins in the same vein as K. Bryant/M. Jordan and J. Randle as Z. Randolph/D. Coleman.

    Both are going to produce, but 1 is simply put in a higher caliber of status.

  • I want who commits first honestly both are studs and I just wanna lock up at least one be4 thinkin bout both...I think wiggins is obviously the better player but I think randle helps us more at the 4...although wiggins might be able to slide down to the 4 and be a mis match but we r talkin bout 2 amazing kids

  • The addition of either player solidifies a National Championship caliber roster for Kentucky. So if you are asking which I want more for the sake of the Cats... Either will do just fine. smoke

    But could you image if we added both. If it wasn't for the sake of money and entertainment, why even play the games in 2013-2014? They should just go ahead and engrave our name on the trophy and prepare to drop banner #9.

    A team of Harrison/Harrison/Wiggins/Randle/Lee/Johnson/Young/Willis plus any returners would just be unfair.

    To say randle is Zach Randolph and wiggins is Jordan or Kobe is the dumbest thing I've ever heard...wiggins can be viewed as a Kobe or Jordan but randle is more like a shorter thicker Garnett...Garnett commin out of high school wasn't the defensive stalwart he is now be was a phenomenal athlete with great upside

  • Randle will be a starter in NBA by 2nd year if not as a rookie and will become an all-star. Wiggins will start from day one and be an ELITE all-star (legendary player). Randle can get his own shot or get to the rim fairly easily but plays better within a structured offense. Wiggins can get to the rim OR get his own shot against ANYBODY.

  • Randle has a nice post up game. He possesses elite perimeter skills for a high school power forward, he uses a lot of moves. Wiggins is explosive(6-7), Kevin Durant type skills but he does not have a solid low block game witch will keep him from dominating in the post. Wiggins is more developed on the perimeter on offense and defense but Randle can dominate high school competition on the perimeter. What im trying to say is if Randle improves his perimeter game to the level of Wiggins(witch he is more then capable of) he would be match-up night mare and would have more to offer then Wiggins.

    At Peach Jam Randle tried to post up Wiggins and kept getting his shot blocked. Wiggins is the most athletic player I've ever seen and has a 6-11 wingspan.

    Wiggins has world-class athleticism to go with a very advanced skill set for his age. You usually either get one or the other. Kid has both.

  • Wiggins is off the charts but not as a physical specimen like Randle. That is what makes Randle better. Andre Wiggins has the skill set and athleticism to be unguard-able but Julius randle has the skills, athleticism, and body to be a dominate mismatch every single Game almost like Calvin Johnson in NFL.

    Also, just to give you some comparison.

    Anthony Davis was not consensus #1 recruit. He was #1 Draft.
    Kyrie Irving was not consensus #1 recruit. He was #1 Draft.
    John Wall was not consensus #1 recruit. He was #1 Draft.

    Mr. Andrew Wiggins...He IS CONSENSUS #1 RECRUIT in a LOADED class.

    Yeah, he is THAT good. Also, Wiggins is SG/SF player. Randle is a SF/PF. Randle isn't super athletic like Gordon is, so in NBA he will be mainly PF. For PF, he isn't that big. However, his work ethic and high effort will make him a star. However, Wiggins will be 2/3. He will have size, athleticism, and skill advantage. He will become the #1 player in the league.

    All-Star games are not ideal settings for such comparisons. This was in the semifinals of the Peach Jam, the premier event of the summer.

    You must be related to Randle, only explanation for your posts. Wiggins is the far superior talent and its not really close.
