Just how on fire

  • is the University of KY?

I know...I know...Joker's job is in question going forward, i truly truly (and not blind "sunshine pumper" optimism) believe we win a minimum 6 games, and Joker proves he should get a few more years. But, with the young young talent dominating this roster (just look at the current depth chart....soph's and RF with TF not on it yet) our future is looking as bright as i can remember. The basketball program is currently king of the mountain. The baseball program (also crazy young) just coming off probably their greatest season, and look poised for another. The Women's Hoops coming off 3 elite 8's in four years. (and should be in the thick of things this upcoming season) The University of KY is as white hot as any athletic dept in the NCAA.

This is validated by our run at the capital one cup final rankings. I know we finished 7th (i believe...could be wrong) but we were within a few points of overall 1st place going into the last few sports of the season. The capital one cup imo is the true measuring stick of an athletic dept's overall success, and i see us being right there in contention for years to come.

My hats off to MB (imo as good an AD in college athletics) and all the coaches for giving us one exciting season after another in so many diff sports.

Note: i apologize to all the other sports who won conf crowns and even a couple national ships for failing to name you. Those sports imo are vital to the overall success of our athletic dept. Some people simply do not realize how important those other sports are to future alums and boosters.

    OOOHHHHH C A T S CATS! CATS! CATS!

  • Finishing 7th in the Capital One Cup is a huge indication of how far the entire athletics department has come under Mitch Barnhart.

And BTW, I just want you guys to know that "The Sunshine Pumpers" is going to be the name of my fantasy football team this year haha.

We need to add a few more non-revenue sports so we can win the COC.

I think this pretty much kicks the ass of any Loserville fan trying to claim their Athletic Dept. is superior to ours. Kiss our asses Tards fans.
