  • Some coaches have systems that work and a knack for getting kids to play hard every time out - even if they're outclassed talent-wise. Takes a special kind of coach to get kids to buy into things like that. That is the kind of coach that UK must have if they're ever gonna see even moderate SEC success.

  • Since 2002 Rivals has been keeping team recruiting rankings.

In that time frame, Snyder's recruiting (not counting when he retired and Prince was coaching) has an average class of #53 in the nation.

With a class that has averaged #53, Snyder has compiled a record of 61-34.

Since coming out of retirement, Snyder's classes have an average national ranking of #70.

Since coming out of retirement, Snyder's record has been 30-15.

I could be wrong, but in addition to being a pretty good football coach, Bill Snyder and his staff are very good at talent evaluation.

    Pretty incredible isn't it?
No reason why we can't find that "Bill Snyder" driven coach and win 7-9 games every single year. I am convinced the guy that would covet the UK Football program and has won at other programs is out there.
The Administration just needs to leave no stone unturned and DO NOT ASSUME that "Coach A will not come". You have to set your sights high, develop a list and ask from the #1 down, no matter how unreachable some believe them to be.
    Go Cats!
