The Kentucky/Missouri on Oct. 27 will be at noon on ESPNU
I kind of would like to go to see Missouri's first homecoming game in the SEC.
I have been told that Columbia is a great college town and a good football environment.
The 12 noon start is a stumbling block.
is it seven hours from Lexington?

Give or take, that's what I've been told at least. Not the easiest of places to get to when hotels have been sold out for 8 months. And St. Louis is a shade under two hours away, which is basically where you have to stay.
Heading out to the game next week as my parents live about 30 miles from Columbia.
Columbia is difficult to find a room on any football weekend, much less homecoming...and yes Columbia is pretty cool
I know some people stay in Jefferson City but coming from KY thats a little bit out of the way.
If you stay in the far western suburbs of St Louis (St Charles, Wentzville, O'Fallon) you can cut your trip to Columbia to a little over an hour.
And if you stay in St Charles, you have a couple casinos to choose from to occupy your non game hours
Found this from Clay Travis about his first trip to Columbia for Mizzou-Georgia game. Pretty good read
