The House of Blue

Looks like a good fit for Rumph's 3 technique. We know Hyde is a 1, and Bell is likely a 5 after he puts on some weight. We need a 3 and a LB/DE in this class as well. Any idea who our top target at LB/DE is now that Drennon is off the board? Mike Mitchell? Jeremy Benjamin? Haynes? Dowdell?

Our front for the immediate future:

NT (1): Cobble/Coleman/Chapman/Hyde
DT (3): Rumph/(Coleman?)/Davis/Graffree/Chapman
DE (5): Ukwu/Huguenin/Douglas/Davis/Newton/Bell
RE (7): Dupree/Paschal/(Bell?)

We seem to be solid and have multiple bodies at the front three, but we're in dire need of some depth at Rush.

Wow, totally forgot about Washington in my little list. I think his length limits him to the 1, with potential to play the 3 as well.

Heck yeah, load up on the DL whenever possible.

Thought when Washington confirmed his re-commitment it might end our recruitment on Jackson. Glad it hasn't. Shows Joker knows he needs to get impact players from day 1 at the most important position in the SEC, lessens the impact of losing Rumph and Cobble after '13 and just brings in a stud DL. Adding Washington and Jackson to go along with Hyde, Bell and likely another DL is huge.
