Kentucky's WR Coach

Does anyone know if the position has been hired, or the canidates that Coach Stoops has been interviewing for the position. I saw where Coach Washington is in line to take another job outside of the SEC.

"Heard some very interesting buzz today about what UK is trying to do with its final offensive position. If it happens, will be a talker."
He also said that word could get out later today......hmmm, I guess we shall stay tuned, lol.

According to @footballscoop on twitter, said he is a very good coach and he should be giving stoops his decision today

Ahhhh....my bad. I didn't think it was inside the SEC, but now that you mention it.....yep. How about Washington @ MIZZU, Turner @ UMSU, Joker @ Fla., Cassidy @ WKU, and Summers also @ WKU. We play them all in 2013.

Not worried about old coaches going to other SEC teams, we are playing in a different offense, better suited defense, and should have overall better leadership.

Here's hoping we get a good WR coach. But the more immediate need would be to get some real SEC caliber WR's on the team. Not really sure we have many of those on the current roster at this point.
Let's hope we can get BOTH, and soon.

Biggest issue I see with Mainord is that he has NEVER recruited outside the state of Texas. Not sure of the recruiting "fit" for UK. Hinshaw would've been a much bigger get at that spot.

I tend to agree, I think at this point they were hiring a coach who Neal Brown is comfortable with. And he seems to be a fantastic coach. Time will tell

If he's only recruited 1 state, Texas is one of a small handful that I don't have a problem with. Now if it's say, Rhode Island or Vermont; then THAT would be a problem. ; )
