Kyle is the best thing to happen to the sports print media here for a long time. He is creative, detail oriented and thoughtful. The new football/women's basketball beat reporter for the LHL, on the other hand, is weak as you might expect. That is what I see.

I would like to know where the 16 scholarship number comes from. I'm pretty sure the roster sits at 79 scholarship players right now. Plus 12 seniors puts it at 18 spots open. Then you always lose a few guys to injurious or other reasons. I would bet they take closer to 21.

Was hoping to see pat Washington continue uk's attempt to recruit Alabama hard. The kids in that state have proven to be highly receptive to uk.

Yup. Also, his background covering virgina tech football is helpful. He's in the 1% of Kentucky mainstream media that will take coaches to task and actually hold them accountable for the product they put on the field. We're lucky to have him.

He dosen't speculate on Jokers job every other week which helps. It's great to have someone from a paper that actually covers the University instead of trying to destroy it. Which is what we have.
