Hey guys,

It's never too early to get the game thread started. Matt is already there and has posted some early photos of the rain coming down sideways at PJ stadium. Not sure what Mother Nature has in store for the rest of the day, but let's get this thread cranking. This is the place to keep all the talk before, during and after the game. Let's keep it all in here instead of creating a bunch of new threads throughout the game.

If this weather keeps up the most miserable people around are going to be the ESPN camera guys and the people in the upper reaches of the deck they added here a few years ago. The clouds are hanging so low they might truly be in them today.

Looks like white pants for Kentucky. So real question is what helmet the Cats wear: blue or white?

Some of Louisville's special teams guys came out in red pants. Not sure if that means red jersey or black one. Kentucky wearing blue socks, which is new I think.

Kentucky strikes first blow. FG attempt by Craig McIntosh sails through upright and lands in middle of UL players running out of the Schnellenberger Complex. Unintentional, of course, but funny nonetheless.

They better cut the game thats on ESPN off if its not by the time the game starts.

Louisville fans booing as Kentucky forms big huddle and does mass jumping around thing. Ah, rivalries.

Watch the crawl at the bottom of the screen - they may start our game on some other ESPN channel. Meanwhile root for running plays and short passes.

A lot of fire from UK I don't remember seeing in pregame last year: team rushes toward Joker, who is slapping fives and waving his arms. Team forms big circle and suddenly CoShik Williams is on top of someone's shoulders leading what appeared to be a speech of some sort, waving arms and whatnot.

Louisville responds by heading to midfield logo, dancing and bouncing around.

Looks like we're going to have a light mist for kickoff, which is about 7-8 minutes away.
