I disagree, coaching is entirely different than head coaching. wouldn't you agree that Joker is a good OC? I just wonder if he can put together a staff that truly believes in his philosophy.

That was bad, but could have been a lot worse. Only hope that display of ineptitude wont affect our recruiting.

Saw several of the freshman on the field at the end of the game, so if they are ready there is no reason to not play them the rest of the season.

We left 17 points on the field through a missed FG and really two unforced fumbles.

As bad as the defense played (and they were horrendous) the thing I take away from this game is that the questions I had about the O, QB play, Special teams all seemed to be answered thus far.

Defense....ugh. Neloms set the tone for this game with that horrendous pass defense on the third and long when we had them backed up at the start.

This team's got room to grow and let's see if they get there. Defense has a LONGGGG WAY to go though.

Wasnt clearly down, but beside that debate Hop....thoughts on that particular playcall? Down 18, time dwindling away in the 4th quarter, and a run with a scatback up the gut inside the 10 yard line?

points may have been left on the field, you may blame the refs decision....but how about the coaches decision to call the time wasting play intead of keeping the ball throwing through the air?

JHB, Gotta agree with hop on this one. The yardage was enough. Would have put us at the 2 yard line. Play call was fine. The fumble hurt ( I disagree with hop here, he fumbled).

There were over 10 minutes left in the game and UL pulled their QB because they knew they were playing an NAIA defense. If you've got an axe to grind find another play / situation. What happened on that play was fine (aside from the fuble obviously). Question defensive preparation / physicality of the team / whatever. That play was far from the decider, and had Coshik not fulbled you have 2 plays to punch it in. The call was fine. I'm with you, I hate how we played, but singling out that call is just plain stupid. It's not what lost us the game.

Better show it soon or he will be looking for a new gig. That defense won't stop any SEC team.
