UK's first true road game of the season will come at one of the nation's most difficult venues, as Notre Dame has won 45 of its last 47 games at the Joyce Center.

Kentucky wearing white uniforms tonight. Notre Dame wearing black unis as part of its 'Black Out'.
Ryan Harrow out shooting around before the game. I'll be interested to see how much clock he gets tonight.
Notre Dame students rolling in now, finding handouts with all kinds of info on UK players to serve as taunting material
Cool thing a second ago: A Notre Dame usher guarding the court let little boy decked in UK gear get pic taken on court, then fist-bumped him
Tonight's officials for Kentucky-Notre Dame: Karl Hess, Ed Corbett, Les Jones
There is one dude sporting a blue Kentucky #23 jersey in Notre Dame student section. Bet he has an, um, interesting night.
Interestingly, the cheers for UK somewhat drowned out the boos from Notre Dame fans as UK came out for warmups just now.
Twany Beckham is ill and didn't make the trip.
Kentucky starters: Nerlens Noel, Alex Poythress, Kyle Wiltjer, Julius Mays, Archie Goodwin
Have to think part of the reason that place is so shooter friendly is because its so small. Not the problems with depth perception, etc.
Mays off to a great start. Giving this team exactly what it needs.
MEDIA TO (15:26) - UK 9, Notre Dame 6; Cats going to the rim nearly every time w/ athletic advantage; Irish mostly settling for jumpers
Scott Martin the next in a long line of ND players to play 8 years of college
I had no idea that UK was leading the nation in FG% ....

Cats doing a nice job so far of keeping Cooley off the offensive glass. Really physical player. Been one and done for the Irish.
Poythress picks up his second. Could be big. Polson comes in.
Kyle Wiltjer has missed three three-pointers already, two of which were wide open.
Wiltjer 0 for 3 on 3 pretty good looks. That's uncharacteristic.
Harrow checks into the game as Noel sinks 2 FTs.
Harrow completely loses his man on first possession, gives up layup; then has turnover on first offensive possession
MEDIA TO (10:52) - UK 14, Notre Dame 12; Kentucky doesn't have a FG in 4:07; Irish creeping back in but hasn't taken advantage
Really hope Ryan has a solid game tonight for however many minutes he gets to get some confidence back.
This lineup is not going to win many games.
Has Goodwin ever heard of pulling the ball back out if the drive isn't there?
