Newton knows the ins & outs at UK

Carmel (Ind.) High defensive end Langston Newton is also looking into the possibility of competing in track and field on the next level. Kentucky is one of his recent offers.

Hopefully, Morgan will be enough to lure him to Lexington. I'm not sure what our Track and Field program has to offer, but I hope they are good enough to boost his interest in UK.

I think it will be hard for other teams to overcome his connection to the UK program. The 'Cats need Langston as well. Perfect fit for Minter's hybrid DE/LB.

My guess is he'll outgrow the DE/LB Hybrid spot after a year with Rock. He looks like he has the frame to be a wicked strongside end after a year or two though.

Totally agree. He will at least be a Jermy Jarmon size DE.
