Lets do some hatin...

  • I'm in a hatin mood this mornin. So lets start a "Haters" thread. Individual players this year, teams (outside the usual suspects like UofHell or Duke) and even commentators or radio personalities.
    Bring the hate y'all.

    For me,
    1.) I hate Aaron Craft of O$U. Yeah he's a really nice player but I'm so damn tired of hearing that he's the best defensive player in the country.
    2.) Those on ESPN or other media outlets so day Aaron Craft is the best defensive player in America. Watch AD much?
    3.) Joe Lunardi. Normally Im alright with the guy but this year he has been adamant about how much better Syracuse than KY.
    4.) Those who continue to proclaim UNC is the most talented team in the country. I just don't see it. I think they are simply overrated.
    5.) Mike Saulk of ESPN radio. I just do.
    6.) Jeremy Lin. Do I even have to explain? Thanks for ruining a nice story ESPN.
    7.) UCONN. Seems like that have lost like 10 in a row, but I guarantee you as soon as they win at least 2 games in a row they will
    be ranked again.

    I could go on but ill stop...for now. LOL.

    Anyone feel like hatin with me?

  • I'm with you on the UNC crap. I don't hate the guy but McDermont is not a first team AA IMO. Roll player on the majority of majors out there. I'm really tired of the Syracuse talk. When they play a good offensive rebounding team it's lights out. Their BE schedule has been favorable and downright easy this year thanks to UConn laying a turd.

  • I hate people who feel that it is absolutely necessary to decrease their speed to 30 mph to merge onto the damn interstate!

    Yeah Tommy he is a usual suspect for me. So figured he was for the majority of UK fans.

    Me too. I also absolutely hate when people drive in the passing lane and don't pass anybody.

    Another thing I hate is when people get of TJ for "flexing" when Sully screams and does all that too. The announcers never say a thing about that. Instead they just talk about how great he is.

  • This one might be too easy...but I cannot stand Bobby Knight. Whenever he commentates a game he points out the most obvious things and often repeats whoever he is with. I feel a lot dumber if I can even watch part of the game. Plus the fact that he hates UK just makes it worse

  • I hate the manufacturers of over the counter medications because they put 3/4 of the bottle full of COTTON! What's up with that!?

    And I hate the way they wrap up cd's and dvd's...you can hardly get the D@*& things open....and yet they put light bulbs in flimsy cardboard!!!banghead

  • speaking of driving, how about the people who stop and then put their turn signal on? What's the freakinig point of the turn signal then? And not that I hate Hoosiers as a whole, but sure enough, everytime this happens, I look up at the guilty party and it's an Indiana license plate. And yes, for the record, I despise Bobby Knight, but most of all, I hate fans who's favorite team is whoever is playing UK. That includes a good friend of mine. Fortunately, for me, that puts him on the wrong side of the bet 99% of the time.

I hate that he picks ND no matter who they are playing. I hate that he picks ND to play in a BCS game. I HATE everything about him.

    Someone PLEASE take one of those damn spit sucker things that dentists use and shove it down his friggin throat! I swear every time he speaks I am just waiting for him to choke to death on his own saliva.

    Couldn't have said it better...ND could be playing anyone in the country and he'd pick them. I bet he's going off thinking Gunner Kiel is the savior, and probably watches Rudy every night before he goes to sleep

    I was taught not to hate, but.....

    I absolutely HATE Stephen A. Smith. I loser with a capital "L". At least Digger, Lou, Bobby, and Jimmy have some athletic career accomplishment.

    Everytime I see or hear his ugly mug on television or radio, it is an automatic push of the previous channel button.

    Hate is pretty strong and in the case of Stephen A. Smith, it fits.

    In EKy there's a widespread habit of signaling when the car in front of you is turning. Used to drive me batty. I'd ask my friends why do you do that? They'd say I'm just letting the car behind me know someone is stopping to turn. I'd say that's what break lights are for!!! #serenitynow

  • I will say if you hate things like the Lin story so much because of how ESPN covers it, or ESPN's talking heads like Lundardi so much—just distance yourself from them. ESPN gives me a headache, so I just don't watch it unless I'm watching a game they're televising. I stress out over meaningless stuff less, I read more, and I don't have to hear about the NFL in June. Everybody wins.

    I actually enjoy Stephen A Smith when he knows what he's talking about. If he knows what he's talking about I think he's a great debater and very funny at times. Now skip on the other hand I can't stand

    The only thing I enjoy is games and watching highlights. People like Stuart Scott and a select few on sports center can be comical but they blew (and are still blowing) some things way outta proportion. Sandusky, the Syracuse ordeal, Mannings neck, paterno dying, have been talked about for months on end it seems and get very old very quick when thats all you see on every rerun of SC
