Yea the POS comment was out of line. I've also said 50 times I'm not a UofL fan, just because I think they had a better spring game and look better at WR, LB, CB and QB doesn't mean I don't think we can beat em, or that we can't improve. I never said it was not possible for us to beat UofL, it will be tough though until we find some playmakers and a few more LB's that can play, Avery can't be the only ILB that does his job and is physically capable. We need someone to step up in a hurry at ILB, if Brause or Jabari can do it I say move em from MIke to Will. I would rather be able to stop the run and have to use more Nickel and speed packages than see teams break long run after long run like in years past. With a much improved D-line our LB's really shouldn't have half as tough of a job as they have had in the past. I really think Rumph and Cobble are going to be one of the best group of DT's in the SEC, atleast they should since Rumph is finally getting the strength and conditioning and since Cobble has had a year to fully recover from his shoulder surgery...
I still stand behind what I said though, UofL looked like a much more talented team on offense, hopefully we can improve at WR... If Whitlow could come in and be a solid playmaker that would be sweet. He has the size and athleticism, Sweat could too but i'm not sure either can learn our package that soon.
