Whitlow trying to carry the load today in this enviroment could easily end his college career and any confidence he may have... just not a smart move. I only wish we had an option besides Newton

Newton just has no passing skills.

Two consecutive passes UK had guys open and Newton just can't make the throw.

Matt seriously...what is better? Giving Morgan Newton another loss as our qb and seeing the disaster that is him or giving Whitlow some experience as a freshman on the road in the SEC? If its a loss either way and all we are doing is running why does it matter at this point?

Sanders looks sharp so far. However, if Newton can't keep the UF defense honest in the passing game, then they will zone in on Sanders and shut the run game down.

Lats I checked UK has outgained Florida thus far and moved the ball on 2 of its 3 possessions into Gators side of field.

Those high passes from Newton are making me nervous. There have been two popped into the air already... one of those are bound to get picked off. Plus it makes our receivers vulnerable to injury.

Dude, just chill. It's like you're just looking for reasons to be furious. It's dumb to throw a true freshman who has never thrown a pass in a game out there at Florida. Newton is so-so. But I guarantee you he gives them a better chance to be competitive today than Jalen Whitlow.

Our defense stepped up last week in the second half to give UK a chance to get back into the game, and they're looking much improved so far today with just a few mistakes allowing for signficant UF gains. We will need them to keep us in games this year if we are going to have any chance of picking up a couple of SEC wins.
