He wasn't anything special but I just don't remember Morgan being this poor his freshman year. He's a known hard worker but it is just astonishing that he has regressed. It has to be a head issue, right?

Yeah, Newton is awful. I don't agree with sending a promising freshman to the slaughter in the Swamp though.

Newton has single handedly ensured we dont have a chance in this one.
Maybe the worst D-1 QB in the country. How can you not adjust to over throwing and staring down your WR's after FOUR YEARS?!?

You had to give Morgan Newton chance to get it done, especially when your freshmen just aren't ready. But the defense has played well and now Newton is not only not winning the game for them, he's losing it for them. Phillips now owes it to rest of team to put Whitlow in.

Dude, just chill. It's like you're just looking for reasons to be furious. It's dumb to throw a true freshman who has never thrown a pass in a game out there at Florida. Newton is so-so. But I guarantee you he gives them a better chance to be competitive today than Jalen Whitlow.
