WCS is exhausted. That's hurting the rebounding plus some of the Maryland shots are soooo far. Mays had a perfect box out but the ball missed the rim and bounced to the three point line.

Maryland has 19 offensive rebounds. Kentucky has 19 total rebounds. Therein lies how Maryland has kept itself in the game.

Not to toot my own horn, but I'm going to. What did I say about Polson? Chris can vouch for me there. Glad to see him come in and provide solid minutes at PG.

Maryland shots ricocheting off the rim and backboard. Dreadful shooting.

First Half Analysis:

UK looked much better and much more fluid than I expected. Maryland looked flat out awful. Horrendous shooting. Although I think the Len kid, in time, will be very good.

– Mays and Polson will be invaluable to this team as the season progresses.

– Wiltjer clearly feeling it.

– For as long and athletic as this team is, still not a very good rebounding team but have the potential to be.

– Maryland 19 offensive rebounds and still trail by 13. Says a lot about the Terps IMO.

MEDIA TO (15:31) - UK 53, Maryland 42; Cats' rebounding not any better so far in second half, as Maryland up to 22 offensive boards.

Now that the momentum has shifted, will be very interested to see who steps up for UK.

Cats can't grab a defensive rebound to save their very lives.

Wheels have really come off. UK just needs to get tougher, especially in the rebounding department.
