MEDIA TO (3:59) - UK 22, Transy 18; Kentucky has managed just 16 shot attempts b/c of the turnovers. Only 4 FTs too.

I've been trying to tell you guys this and I understand the 2012 national championship team got off to a slow start against this same Transy team last season.
But I'm telling you now so you won't be shocked/depressed later: this team is going to struggle especially early in the season. I know some people are calling for a 12-1, 11-2 out of conference record but frankly I'd be shocked.
Just going to take longer for this team to put it all together.

That wouldn't be surprising.
When you have Lamb, Jones, and Miller knowing how to play Cal Ball...i would expect us to be much much farther back.
I still love the potential of this team. Oozing with potential. Let see how much Cal can tap into it.

Yep. They just seem to be completely out of sync with each other, which isn't surprising. They've also got to figure out how to get Poythress to play hard all the time if they want to reach that level.

Fruit cake.
And Wiltjer going 0-3.. come on now. MY prediction of him was going to be high 40s / low 50s in fg%. what is he being such a wussy for.
I have to say so, even so they are division 3, our defense is okay? I can't watch so i can't say. But two games in a row where they are shooting extremely low FG %.

I see some media/fans cracking on Nerlens Noel for not being able to post up on Transy, who doesn't have a player taller than 6-foot-4.
Same held true for Anthony Davis last season. Loonng season. Fans will have to be more patient.

Nice job by WCS. Puts it on the floor and kicks it out for a Mays 3. Then gets a steal and finishes a lob from Mays. Good sequence.
