After splitting a pair of made-for-TV neutral site events Kentucky opens up its regular season home schedule with a Friday night affair against the Patriot League's Lafayette.

Lafayette's best player, forward Dan Trist, hurt himself in today's shootaround and isn't expected to play tonight. The 6-9, 230-pound sophomore was averaging 23 points thus far this season.

Calipari all but implored Kyle Wiltjer to get shots yesterday and he has responded with a pair of 3s to start game, both on assists from Mays, then fed Mays for a 3, then hit stepback fadeaway J from the elbow.
