There's a lot more to playing center in Brown's offense than being big and nasty. The center makes the calls for the protection in this offense, not exactly an easy task for a newbie to the position. Interesting nonetheless.

Really? Didn't know that, lol. (sarcasm off) I either worded my post poorly or you interpreted it differently than I intended. I'm not thinking Cart's gonna come in and be our starting C this Fall. Naturally, we're talking future and depth. Like to redshirt all big uglies every year, and as you alluded, you can raise that to the 2nd power for the Center position.
That being said, I'm assuming that the staff, especially if they offer, believes he must have the aptitude/intangibles to learn to make the calls to project out as an SEC caliber C in the Brown offense. So now that that is assumed or a given, as I mentioned, I like idea of a guy who has a nasty/mean streak in him at C. Don't you?
