Louisville with #1 overall seed

  • But with probably the toughest bracket. Duke has lost only one game this year w/Kelly in the lineup and MichSt is a notoriously tough out in the NCAA and Izzo has two titles under his belt. Can't imagine hair plugs is overly excited about the potential regional final facing either Duke or MichSt. The Cards better hope for a couple of uspsets because if not, they are in for an absolute war to reach the FFour!

    Duke has major rebounding weakness. If their shots are not falling, they can go out rather quickly. Or they stay hot and they can win it all.

    Izzo has 1 title

    but every team has hot team. Ohio is hot team just winning the so called "toughest conference " tourney.

    Miami won both ACC regular season and tourney. Seems to me they are much more of a threat than Duke.

  • Thought Izzo had two but he does have multiple FF trips on the resume, my bad. Regardless, both Izzo and K are great coaches and are going to be tough outs. Miami isn't in the Cards bracket so they may be a threat in the FF but not in the MW region.

    I dont think UL gets past MSU. Izzo is a very good coach. I might even pick Travis Ford and OK State pull upset of the Ville. Silva is a choke artist. He is overrated and a head case. He will implode before they get to Final Four.

    That choke artist is the only player along with Pat Ewing to win back to back MVP's of the Big East tourney. Some hate sounds intelligent and some hate just makes you sound like a moron. Plus he certainly didn't implode before the final four last year.

  • Louisville beat the crap out of Izzo and MSU last season in the Sweet 16. MSU managed 44 points.

    I think St. Louis is as tough, myself. But I also think UofL would relish meeting Duke again.

    What are you 12? My son acts more mature than you do. All you know how to do is attack someones opinion through a computer. If you dont like my opinion, then ignore it which is what I will be doing to you from now on. Apparently you are one of these guys that think your crap doesnt stink and that you are the authority on everything. I thought that being able to express ones opinion is what this board was for. Not sit around and just find somebody you disagree with and insult them.

  • Louisville depends on the referees allowing a brawl type game. The only reason (some will argue I'd encourage you to look at the difference in fouls called between first and second half) UofL won the Big east title game is because the refs allowed them to maul Syracuse with their full court press. they pushed, grabbed, pulled their way to steals.

    If UofL doesn't have a crew that allows them to push and shove their way while on defense they will really struggle. The second half of our game against uofl they got in foul trouble? What happened? Our crappy team nearly beat them. Duke with their ball handlers all over the floor could give uofl trouble if the refs don't allow UofL to maul them...

  • As of right now UL has the Vegas odds to win.......at 9/2.

    Strangely enough, the UK women are at 7/1. Both Baylor and ND are at 2/1. I would've thought Baylor would have better odds?

  • I'm not sure UofL plays Duke. I think more likely MSU but I also think that will be the tougher game for them.
