Sometimes I wonder how valuable a deep bench is for Cal; and how much he is concerned about it. He's only going to play 6,7 guys anyhow--unless injury or other problems strike. I'd really like to see some great talent down to no. 8, 9 and watch Cal handle that "problem". He hasn't had talent that deep so far at UK and I'm not at all sure that he wanted it either. He sometimes admitted that he had difficulty in getting Miller and Wiltjer the playing time they deserved last season and they were only 6,7. But if he'd cut into the "heroes" time too deeply, there would certainly be morale problems. Oh such tough times for Cal and UK. :--))
