    I agree that it should be the end of the discussion. However, if it's the end, then people can't be made fun of for posting their dumb agendas against UK football and how they would rather see Joker and Barnhart fail.

  • Why would we want to bring an exciting brand of football to UK when we already have a cautious, incremental, risk-averse solution firmly in place that will never work against the big boys of the SEC?

    Exciting brand of offense only. The SEC is a defensive league period. We saw how that Air Raid went.

    As for the big boys, UK over the last few seasons have beaten nearly every team but Florida.

    All I can say is...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA in the face of all the Leach lovers. It ain't happening. Like I said, I'm not sayin Joker is the right guy, but Leach is DEFINITELY not the guy, and thankfully we don't have to worry about finding out the hard way.

  • I'm not necessarily pro Leach. I'm pro anything that will give UK even the slightest chance to win some SEC games. If once in 26 years is enough for you, fine. I hope you enjoyed that. Do you think we'll now split with them from now on? Of course we won't. Watch UT and UofL retool, compete and beat us again and again. It will happen, it will suck, and it's the same old story at UK. History will repeat itself.

    I'm only asking a legit question here and not trying to start a war or words (unless you just want one LOL) but why is it that some of us fans who choose to be optimistic looking forward are ripped and "blind fools" (not your words of course but others) or "a part of the problem" (again not saying those are your words) but its OK for other people (I refuse to call them fans) to just completely bitch and moan and concede every season before it kicks off?

    If I'm not mistaken, when we started our 4 game winning streak against UofHell, they were coming off a 10-1 Orange bowl victory season and we were much worse than what we have been lately. (Although I admit the offense was God awful but the D wasn't so much) At that time no one thought we would ever start a 4 game winning streak against them. No one thought we would beat Clemson, UGA twice (once on the road) FL. St. , #1 LSU, Steve Spurrier, Auburn (on the road) or UT (as bad as they were Vegas still had us a 9 point home dog) after 26 years of losses.

    So yeah, I've always believed we could and over the last few seasons...now I KNOW we can. I guess I'm just a blind fool who's a part of the programs "real" problems, but you know what, I'd much rather be laughed at and ridiculed for believing than giving up all hope. I just ain't wired like that. I have never believed that anything was impossible. And when you keep believing it makes it all the sweeter...Just like in 07'. I had 4 stores in lousiville Indiana at the time and was harrassed (literally) for 5 months leading up to the game because I believed we could win. Unleashing my vengeance on those bastards was the happiest (non family related ...and its close) week of my life.

    Ill never stop believing or supporting my boys. Ever.
