Miss. State knocks off LSU, will face Cats on Thursday

Bulldogs vs. Cats at approx. 2 p.m. Thursday. State used its ace today whereas LSU held its ace back. Good deal for UK.

Agree Jeff, and I may be wrong, but I like the fact that we are coming off getting swept by them. I think our guys are going to extremely focused.

Agree. I think that will give the Cats an edge, although you can't deny that MSU is on fire right now. Baseball is a momentum game, and they've got a ton of it right now.

Terry, I agree.
I expect Jerad to go tomorrow, but decision not final yet. Jerad threw well against them last week and I think Hendu would die to have saved Littrell to at least Saturday.

If the guys play solid defense then they have a great chance of winning. That killed them last weekend. Fix that and just get a few hits with guys on base and they could of took a game or two.
