Mississippi State Wins 2K Classic

Took down #16 Arizona to take home the title. They are good down low. Some of you may remember the name Arnett Moultrie. He was a transfer from UTEP. He paced the way for the Bulldogs. He and Sidney could be quite the tandem.

Sidney's a total wildcard. He could lift them into Top 25 status or sink their whole season. Will be interesting to see if/how they build on this.

Mississippi State had a really bad first week of the season. . . Looks like the 2nd week was much better. . .

The combination of poor coaching Stansbury and the jekyl/hyde of Sidney will spell disaster for them. I'm not saying their season will be bad, because it won't. They'll be a 20 win team and go to the 2nd round of the NCAAT but that's it.

Miss State looked very good in NYC in back to back wins over ATM and Arizona. They have the talent to play with anyone in the SEC. I could see them outdueling Alabama in the West.

I think they match up pretty well, but Bama plays MUCH better defense.

Too bad Texas A&M and Arizona, especially Arizona, are horrible this year.

I think this is very shortsighted. You are comparing this season to last season for Sidney and that would be a mistake.

Sidney will be the key to state this year. If he stays focused and happy he can be a load down low. The problem has always been his effort level and emotional stability.
