Can someone please ask today at the presser which Freshman have enrolled at UK.
Football freshman.
We know all about the basketball freshman and the incoming transfer.

Clemons is, not sure on Caffey. Haven't heard anything to make me think Gainer isn't on campus.

I believe I read, and can't remember where, that Faulkner will be here June 22. Not sure if that's correct and haven't seen anything on Washington.

...but we football fans have a chip on our shoulder...I guess UK prevents anyone from finding out this information as well.
it makes you question the restricted access stuff given we see the same type of stuff reported for basketball that we are told that UK says is off limits for football. It doesn't seem to restrict what is reported for basketball. When basketball recruits show up for camps, we get reports from the Craft Center. When football recruits show up we may or may not even hear about it.
And this is a UK media-wide criticism, not a criticism at this site directly.
Nobody going to Destin at all from UK media circles was a complete sham. Georgia had 4 beat writers there, 4. Don't even talk to me about costs because you could have got a round-trip ticket to Destin for $139 from Louisville about a month or two ago through Vision Airlines.

You, sir, are a conspiracy theorist. Imo, all it boils down to is the fact that it's harder to keep tabs on 25+ fooball recruits than it is 5 basketball recruits. Calm down, the signed their letters of intent. They'll either be here, at a juco, or not at all. In the event that they don't show up, we'll just have an extra scholarship for this class.

There was a rumor about Gainer leaving a few weeks ago that turned out to be 100% false. So don't worry about that one.

Steve Jones had updates on the status of most of the incoming guys. Most are confirmed to be on campus this week. Most of the others will report in two weeks or so. The only one he could not catch up with was from Lovejoy HS. Tandy is the only one confirmed at this time to be headed the JUCO route.

Coleman and Washington are both on campus. Basically everyone will be on campus by the 23rd with the exception of Tandy who has to go juco and I believe Josh Forrest hasn't made a qualifying test score yet but still has a chance to take the test again this month.

Ever think that our coaches might want to keep some things under wraps? Much of what JD and Jeremy get are strategic leaks from people around the programs.

The only reason to keep them under wraps is if there are issues.

Conspiracy no, but you have to admit amount and flow of info is not the same. I know 25+ players are hard to keep up with, but Faulkner was a Army All-American and hardly anyone talks about the kid around UK besides football fans. That is one reason I switched over to this site I love UK basketball, but anyone can find info on all of our 5 star kids for 3 years we have been getting the best in the country. This site really helps football fans get info on kids that other UK sites just won't or don't care to cover.
