With less than a week until the July live period, the NCAA dropped a bombshell: four prominent AAU teams are banned from playing this month due to associations with agents.

I wonder if he didn't do it.
I believe he's also Marquis agent. I'm also shocked that while he's got a "rep" for being a sleazebag he's not what I'd classify as a "wannabe" which is what usually gets players and programs in trouble. He and his agency have some pretty big names.

That's an interesting point. I've always been of the opinion that Cal wanted to see a little more from Walker in terms of motor, being more consistent, etc. Also wanted to wait and gauge his position with Randle.
But this may play into it as well. Also been of the opinion that Walker is UK's if they want him. Always telling when a kid continues to list a school prominently when they haven't offered.

Sounds like their AAU squad will re-form under the name "Florida Elite" for the July period.

Looks like as long as the teams change their name they'll be good to go, which is dumb.

I believe they have to disassociate with their coaches as well.
