NCAAW Recruiting

There has been a run on women's basketball recruits lately and a number of Kentucky targets are off the board. #1 Mercedes Russell (Tenn), #2 Kaela Davis (GaTech) and #40 Emmonnie Henderson (Lou) have all committed within the past two weeks.
Matthew Mitchell's class looks like this:
#5 5'6 Linnae Harper of Chicago
#37 5'8 Makayla Epps of Lebanon, KY
#72 6'1 Kyvin Goodin-Rogers of Campbellsville, KY
*all numbers are from ESPN's HoopGurlz.

Hey Josh, is Makayla Epps the daughter of Anthony Epps? If so that is really cool that she would be following in her fathers footsteps at UK. Thanks

Yes that is his daughter. She was originally committed to Louisville.

If Kyra Elzy hadn't gone to join the UT staff Mercedes Russell would've been at UK. Elzy completely handled the Russell recruitment for both schools.
Only target really left on our board right now is probably Imani Wright. She's ranked #31 by HoopGurlz and visited for Big Blue Madness. 5'11 guard out of Texas, one of the best scorers in the class.

allen, you seem to follow more closely than myself. I appreciate the info. I knew losing Elzy would be a loss, but I didn't know it would cost us the #1 recruit in the class.
