ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay has Winston Guy projected as the fourth pick in 6th round (#174 overall) to Tampa Bay in his latest/final full mock draft. He did not have Danny Trevathan being selected. The NFL.com mock doesn't have either player being taken. Seems the more I look around the more it appears both guys are fringe draft picks, in which case it may not be the worst thing to be a free agent as opposed to a 6th or 7th rounder. At least that way you can choose a team as a free agent whose roster maximizes the opportunity to make the team.

Leader for 2 years and tied for forced fumbles, top 3 in int, top 5 in almost every stat in the entire country...
How does this really happen, can someone answer that??? He was a legit 237# at the NFL combine... I do have some questions but it really doesn't matter cause i know how fast he is, what was his best 40 at his pro-day? Why didn't he run or do drills at the NFL combine? And why didn't he represent in the SR bowl?
All those things would have showed everyone he's legit. I'm not boasting or full of myself but I know he's the best 4-3 LB in the SEC maybe country and all these "EXPERTS" are saying this because "He looks small" that's what i've read like 10 times "He doesn't look 232 during his SR year"... So what, he plays 240 and plays 4.4... That's the bottom line...

OMG!!!! You just said it too... Sorry if I piss you off but please man, he's way better than to just be a kickoff-coverage guy and as much as I liked Woodyard, Danny is better than Woodyard. I love both and both are similar but Danny is bigger than Woodyard and has better instints. Woodyard runs better but Danny plays just as fast and hits the hole faster and harder than any LB in the SEC... It's amazing what 10# and a inch could do for his draft status. No doubt if he played on a team like GA, FL or Bama he would go on the first day. This is a real joke, no way Danny is only a special teamer, yea he may have to start out there but if I were any 4-3 team in the country I would draft him unless I had 2 very good Weak-side LB's... JMO...
