I wanted Petrino, but that was without Stoops even being mentioned. Stoops and the staff he seems to be bringing is a step above Petrino, especially at UK. A Petrino hire would have had the fans divided immediately from day one. Awesome work by Mitch Barnhart.
All we need now is about $200 - $300 million in upgrades put behind this staff.

The Texas Tech fan posted that he got that info from people close to Kentucky program and what he has seen from other boards. A whole lot more involved in the decision, but Tuberville's head-slap has to weigh into the decision. You just don't do things like that when it's all caught on camera.

That was not Neal Brown from what I remember. And I'm sure Neal isn't going to comment until its official on Thursday.

I was talking about the money that UK wants to for the athletic dep from the state..
And not spending it on new labs dorms and such.
I remember one of UK's big deans or profffffffessors who was on the tv complaining about UK spending money on things for sports.
What he does not understand is that without a great sports dept UK would loose a ton of students.
And that is proven to be true from studies done at Duke and Wisc.

Franklin and at least 2 other assistants are going with Dykes to Cal. This just might have put the dagger in Brown coming to Kentucky talk.
I did hear tonight, just a little while ago that Coley maybe re-considering Kentucky.
