The comparisons are always there, hanging in the air like a floater in the lane. For Nerlens Noel being the heir apparent to Anthony Davis has been inescapable.

I certainly think Nerlens can challenge the record but it will take a deep tournament run for him to beat it.
Exactly. I believe he would break the record but he needs the same number of games. Tall order.
Unfortunately, the odds are not in his favor. However, he could top his blocks per game stat.
Lot of people scoffed when those of us that saw Noel a bunch on the AAU circuit said he could be a better shot blocker than Davis.
I think, purely as a shot blocker, he's better. If you don't get into his body, you have no chance. Quicker off his feet and more athletic than Davis.
