Anyone know the validity to the "rumors" account that 247 has?

Butch Jones in play at Kentucky?

Strong rumors this morning that Kentucky could be targeting Cincinnati coach Butch Jones.

If he could bring Kerry Combs and a group of assistants that can recruit Georgia and Florida, I would be pretty positive on the hire. Gotta have guys with Southern ties, though.

Yes, I will be very interested on whoever the assistants will be if Jones does indeed take the job. Personally hope Summers is retained from the old staff. Mark Elder is a guy from the Cincy staff I wouldn't mind. Ohio and Tennessee look to be his territories. Definitely needs some assistants that are familiar with Georgia and Florida though for sure.
